“When you want something the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.” - Paulo Coehlo
So Paulo Coehlo said that, and I want to go a step forward and say that if your heart has pure intentions, destiny alters its course to accomodate a mere luck by chance situation. To elaborate my point, I would like to share a story of two pen friends who met through the Parker Pen Festival in the 60'z. In their teens they wrote frequently to each other, sharing experiences, knowledge and gifts. Then as fate would have it, they lost touch. However, unkown to them, their lives were running in parallel.
Both friends had fond memories of the other. They had never met one another but always kept the hope alive of finding each other again. And as luck would have it, or as destiny had prescribed it... 46 years later they found each other through Facebook. That moment could not be explained in the words but with just a grin.
It seemed like destiny had chosen a warm September afternoon of 2011 to reconnect two lost friends. It seemed supernatural and divinely inspired. The friends remembered everything about the other to the minutest of details. All of it seemed as if it was just yesterday, even though, four decades had gone by. It appears to me, as if that some higher power tested and approved the worthiness of their friendship, as it had stood the test of time. So After 46 years, it was time for them to be pen pals again.
Life indeed has a funny way of working itself out. It is like a bollywood movie, regardless of the budget or a story line, it will give you emotions, drama, suspense, romance, thrillers, villans and songs. But by the end of it all...there is a lesson, and a happy ending, which makes it worth-while to sit through the whole show.
Therefore never give in or give up.
Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself. You cannot find peace by avoiding life. All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better scientist you become. And life can be summed up as, "it goes on" but always completes a circle, and the fear of suffering is worse than the suffering itself.
So live and let live.
